Portuguese emigrants traveling to Portugal this Summer
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers recent newsrelated to prohibitions or restrictions on the arrival of emigrants in the summer to be unfounded, particularly for those residing in Europe.
The government's objective is that emigrants come to Portugal in the summer to reunite with their families and, as they have always done, to support the recovery of the economy.
In the particular case of Portuguese immigrants in European countries, it is important to remember that airspace within Europe remains open, with the gradual strengthening of air connections on the continent being expected.
At the same time, the Government is working to ensure that, no matter how the land border scenario evolves, it will be possible for Portuguese residents abroad and with another residence or family members in Portugal to travel to our country during the holiday period of summer.
